Trauma Fellowship
Successful applicants will join the dynamic Edinburgh Orthopaedic Trauma Unit, typically rotating through two six-month jobs covering both adult upper limb and lower limb trauma. Spine trauma is not provided by our service. Senior fellows will be expected to contribute to the on-call rota, working regular evenings and weekends, providing emergency Orthopaedic trauma care for a population of approximately 850,000 individuals. This a busy, but very rewarding fellowship, with a generous amount of outpatient clinic and theatre experience. Fellows are encouraged to engage in ongoing research projects, journal clubs and of course social events.
